The Warsaw Tigers delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, overwhelming the Westville Blackhawks in a decisive straight-set victory, 25-9, 25-13, 25-6. From the opening serve to match point, the Tigers controlled every facet of play, leaving no doubt about their dominance on their home floor. Warsaw set the tone early with relentless service pressure and a disciplined defensive presence that kept the Blackhawks out of system all night. The Tigers racked up an impressive 20 service aces as a team, consistently forcing errors and limiting Westville’s offensive opportunities. At the net, Warsaw was equally imposing, combining for 32 kills and 15 blocks, while their defense anchored the effort with 39 digs. Leading the charge offensively was Levi Brath with 9 kills and 3 blocks, establishing a strong presence at the net. Logan Carl contributed across the board with 9 kills, 3 aces, 4 digs, and 2 blocks in a well-rounded performance. Ben Harlan added 7 kills and 2 blocks, while Nolan Haussmann chipped in 4 kills, 3 digs, and 2 blocks. The Tigers’ serving game proved to be a major difference-maker. Silas Hill led the way with 5 aces and added 11 digs defensively, while Mac Tucker matched that effort with 5 aces to go along with 10 assists in directing the offense. Patryck Bocianski contributed 7 assists, 2 aces, 3 digs, and 2 blocks in a balanced outing. Additional contributions came from across the lineup, highlighting the Tigers’ depth. Fisher Whitaker recorded 2 aces, 1 kill, and 2 blocks, CJ Hutton added 2 kills, 2 digs, and an assist, and Sam Bowers provided a steady defensive presence with 7 digs and an ace. Cadyn Greer added 2 aces and a block, while the team’s collective effort never allowed Westville to find rhythm. With the win, Warsaw improves to 7-3 on the season and will look to carry that momentum into the Valparaiso Invite this Saturday, where pool play begins at 10 AM EST. In JV action, the Tigers continued the strong showing, defeating the Blackhawks in straight sets, 25-20, 25-23. John Conley led the JV squad with 10 digs and 6 kills, while Fisher Whitaker added 5 aces and 4 kills. Barrett Hodorek dished out 4 assists, Ryan Carnes added 3 assists, and Luis Neumann chipped in 2 aces. The JV Tigers improve to 9-3 on the season.
