The Warsaw girls cross country team and Jackson Gackenheimer of the boys team began the trek to Terre Haute for the IHSAA State Cross Country Finals Friday morning. Warsaw Police officers gave them an escort, and students, administrators and fans were there to see them off. Here are details about tomorrow's races: WHERE: LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, Wabash Valley Family Sports Center, 599 S. Tabortown Road, Terre Haute, IN 47803. Course Layout Time: New in 2025: Boys race at 12 pm ET; Girls race at 1 pm ET with awards ceremony for both to follow. Gates Open: 9:30 am ET / 8:30 am CT. Admission: All ticket sales will be digital only via Eventlink (additional fees may apply). No cash. Please purchase tickets online in advance and present your purchase verification on your phone at the gate for admission. A purchased ticket can only be validated one time. If you choose to leave the facility, you will be required to purchase another ticket. $15 per person. Children ages 5 or younger admitted free. Note: Wifi and cell service around the facility can be spotty and delay the process in having your ticket available to redeem.
