The girls cheer squad competed in the Varsity A timeout division Saturday and advanced to the state finals for a third straight year. They advanced by performing Saturday in one of the prelim competitions held through the Indiana Cheer Championships which is governed through the Indiana Association of school principals. Due to the large amount of squads that compete in this division yearly, advancement is determined via video submission. The videos are judged and scores are given with the top 60% of squads advancing to the State Cheer Competition at New Castle High School on November 8th. Warsaw made it to the Final Four in 2023 and 2024 in the state competition.
