Tie scores in golf don't happen often, but it's even more rare to have three teams tied for the final two spots of the golf regional with a trip to the state finals on the line. But that's exactly what happened at Stonehenge Thursday. Warsaw, Leo and Dwenger all shot team scores of 313 for their top four players. To break the tie, they went to the fifth players' scores, and Warsaw's 5th player had been disqualified. That left the Tigers 4th, and only the top three teams in the regional advance to the state finals. Homestead won the regional championship with a stunning score of 291 on a hot, sunny day with very little wind for the players to deal with. Isaac Summers had the low score for the Tigers with 73, which was tied for 8th overall and one shot back of the 3rd place individual not on an advance with their team.
