The Lady Tiger softball squad scored the winning run with 2 outs in the 7th inning to earn their first conference win of the season in a 9-8 win over Goshen at the TAC Friday. Warsaw was down 8-7 heading to the bottom of the 6th, then scored a run in the 6th to tie the game and added another in the 7th to complete the comeback when Addi Williams drove home Mia Rodriguez. WIlliams had 3 hits with the game winning RBI and a run scored while Rodriguez and Bayleigh Sleeth each went 2-5 at the plate. Kaitlyn O'Dell was solid in relief, pitching 4 2/3 innings and allowing a run on 4 hits. Warsaw won a very strange junior varsity game by a score of 26-16 in 6 innings. Goshen scored 16 runs without the benefit of a hit after Warsaw pitchers walked 20 batters. But Warsaw pounded out 12 hits and drew 12 walks of their own. See the box scores of both games attached.
