The Lady Tigers lost at Wawasee Wednesday 16-6 in 6 innings. Warsaw fell behind 5-0 after 2 innings, but then plated 6 runs to take a 6-5 lead in the top of the 4th. But Wawasee answered with 6 runs of their own in the bottom of the 4th to regain the lead, and then piled on 4 more in the 5th to take command of the game. Warsaw's fielding let them down against the Warriors. The Lady Tigers committed 6 errors that led to 8 unearned runs. Warsaw also managed only 3 hits. Leadoff hitter Reagan Robinson had 1 of those 3 hits and drove in 2 runs. The junior varsity also lost at Wawasee 16-15 Wednesday. The JV score 7 runs in the 7th to tie the game at 15, only to see the host team win in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the inning. Box scores for both games are attached.
