When you go to a baseball game, you just never know what you are going to see. Warsaw beat Concord at Tiger Field Friday, and Tiger senior Reed Nelson pitched a complete game one-hitter as the Tigers beat Concord 6-5 in walk-off fashion. Nelson allowed only a triple, but the Tigers committed 5 errors which led to 4 unearned runs. He stuck out 7 and not issuing any bases on balls. As good as Nelson was on the mound, the game was still tied at 5-5 heading into the bottom of the 7th inning. Hunter Dippon singled to start the game-winning rally, and Brock Bowser came in to run for him. Oliver Nisen bunted Bowser to 2nd, then Logan Kim was hit by a pitch. Rogan Bailey singled to load the bases. That put it up to Wyatt Stapleton, and he hit a ground ball past the mound, allowed Bowser to scamper home with the winning run. Warsaw won the JV game by a score of 11-5 after scoring 8 runs in the bottom of the 1st.
