Both Warsaw softball teams lost to NorthWood Monday night at the Tiger Athletic Complex. Warsaw fell behind 4-0 in the top of the first and never recovered in a 12-2 loss to the Lady Panthers. It was a game where every ball NorthWood put in play seemed to find a place where Warsaw wasn't, and almost every ball that Warsaw hit was right at a Lady Panther fielder. NorthWood finished with 16 hits and the Tigers only 6. Add to that 4 Warsaw errors and several missed plays and it added up to another loss for the varsity, who has lost four straight games and are now 3-5 on the season. Addi Eastwood pitched all five innings, and gave up 9 earned runs and didn't walk anyone. Bayleigh Sleeth was the only Lady Tiger with 2 hits, including a long home run inside the left field foul pole for Warsaw's first run of the game in the 2nd inning. The junior varsity also lost to NorthWood at the TAC 23-10.
