Carmel 3200m Showcase 4/25/25 For the third consecutive year, the Tiger Distance Crew had a tremendous showing at the Carmel Distance Showcase. Building off the success of 2023 and 2024 and through the Cross Country season, 6 runners put out incredible efforts against the top competition in the State with over 200 runners getting to the start line. Jackson Gackenheimer: 9:15.01 (15th overall) Once again, Jackson has raced to within seconds of the school record! Tyler Mimnaugh: 9:20.86 (25th overall) A new Personal Best while executing a great race plan from start to finish. Clark Meridew: 9:37.72 (Heat Winner! 59th overall) Ran a huge PB by nearly 10 Seconds and ran head-to-heat with some of top northern Indiana runners before dropping an incredible final 400m. Rick Orr: 9:54.61 (14th in his heat) Ran a great Season Best 3200m, second fastest time in his career. Noah McPhail: 9:43.82 (4th in his heat, 79th overall) Ran at Carmel Classic for the first time and left with an incredible new PB of over 10 seconds. Micah Zaugg: 10:04.07 (7th in his heat) Ran a new PB by over 10 seconds and put himself within a few seconds of dipping under the 10 minute barrier.
