The Warsaw girls soccer team fell behind early and was never able to recover in a 5-1 loss to Homestead in the sectional championship at Fort Wayne South Side Saturday. Already trailing 2-0, Warsaw got on the board in the middle of the first half, but the Lady Spartans scored again before half to lead 3-1 at intermission. Homestead would score twice more in the second half to put the game out of reach. Warsaw ends their season with a 11-5-2 record and a second place finish in the Northern Lakes Conference.
