The Warsaw JV "Jammers" football team continued their perfect season with a dominant 60-0 shutout victory over Wawasee. Clayton Dias got things started early with a 7-yard touchdown run at the 9:21 mark of the first quarter. Parker Vandusen added the 2-point conversion to make it 8-0. Walker Perry recorded a sack before Dias punched in another short score from a yard out at 6:22. Nolin Himes converted the 2-pointer, pushing the lead to 16-0. Himes then broke free for an 18-yard touchdown run at 3:55 of the first quarter, making it 22-0. The defensive pressure continued with sacks from Braylon Ellis and Brady Aldefer. Mason Silveus scored on a 2-yard run early in the second quarter and added the 2-point conversion for a 30-0 advantage. Luki Silvestre forced a fumble and recovered it on the ensuing kickoff. Colton Beard capitalized with a 13-yard touchdown run, and Himes added the 2-pointer to make it 38-0. Himes wasn’t done, ripping off a 28-yard touchdown run late in the half. Dakota Salazer converted the 2-pointer try for a 46-0 lead at intermission. Tanner Dippon scored on a 4-yard run in the third quarter, with Bryson Ellerson handling the 2-point conversion to stretch the margin to 52-0. Ellerson capped the scoring with a 23-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter for the final 60-0 score. The Jammers improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference. They head to Goshen next Saturday with a 10 a.m. kickoff.
