The freshman Warsaw Tigers opened their home season with a 42-6 win at Fisher Field against the Northrop Bruins. Luke Finley scored the opening touchdown and connected with Wilson for the two-point conversion, giving Warsaw an 8–0 lead. Finley also added a 50-yard touchdown run in the 2nd quarter, followed by Owen Saunders’ 10-yard score on the 2 point conversion. Warsaw led 22–0 at halftime. Kolembe scored on a touchdown run in the 3rd quarter with Knox Kesler converting the two-point attempt to make it 30–0. In the 4th quarter Jensen Sands added a one-yard quarterback sneak, and Kesler scored a late touchdown on a toss from Sands with 30 seconds on the clock.
