Golf Team Finishes 14th at State Finals

The Tiger Golf Squad finished their season Wednesday with a 14th place finish at the IHSAA State Finals in Carmel. Warsaw shot 327 Wednesday after a 313 in the opening round to end at 64-over-par for a final score of 640. Westfield won the championship with a team score of 592 (+16). Quinton Fifer had the best 36-hole score for the Tigers with an 83 in Round 2 and a two-day total of 157 (+13) and a tie for 49th. Freshman RJ Ayers posted an 80 and Breckin Christner 81 Wednesday to finished tied for 66th with a two-day score of +17. Junior Isaac Summers carded an 83 for a state finals score of 162 (+18) and a 72nd place finish. Freshman Luke Baumgartner shot 85 in the 2nd round for a total of 165 (+21) and a finish in 87th place.
