The Tiger baseball team scored all three of their runs in the last two innings to beat LaPorte 3-2 Friday night. Spencer Love laid down a squeeze bunt in the 6th to produce the game winning run. Freshman Ben Zartman had his best outing of the season on the mound, pitching 5.2 innings, allowing only 2 runs (1 earned) on 3 hits while fanning 2 and walking 3. Mark Haynes got the final out of the 6th inning and Quinton Brock pitched a perfect 7th. Brock also had 2 hits and scored a run. The junior varsity lost to Concord 4-3.
