Baseball Shuts Out NorthWood, Splits Season Series

A 6-run fourth inning propelled the Tiger varsity baseball team to a 10-0 win over NorthWood Wednesday at Tiger Field. Zack Reneker singled to score a run, Rogan Bailey and Grady Nelson drew walks with the bases loaded to score two more runs, Logan Kim singled to plate a pair of runs, and Spencer Love hit a sacrifice fly to score the final run of the frame. . Mason O'Malley earned the win for the Tigers. The right-handed pitcher gave up 2 hits over 5 scoreless innings, striking out 3 and issuing 1 walk. Love batted in 3 runs number seven spot in the lineup and stole two bases. The junior varsity fell behind early and lost to NorthWood 14-5. The box score for both of tonight’s games are attached. Next up for Warsaw Varsity Tigers is a game against Northridge on Friday.
