The Tiger baseball team jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the second inning and didn't look back in a 10-0 win at Tiger Field Monday. In the 5-run 2nd, Spencer Love singled home 2 runs and a Pilgrim error allowed two more Tigers to score. Kael Miller grounded into a fielders choice, which plated the 5th run. Warsaw added 5 more runs in the bottom of the 6th inning on only 3 hits. Quinton Brock singled to drive in 2 runs, and Grady Nelson belted a 3-run home run to end the game. Ben Zartman earned the win for Warsaw with his best pitching performance of his freshman year. He gave up 4 hits and no runs over 5.1 innings, fanning 4 and walking a couple. Brock appeared in relief for Warsaw and got the final two outs. Rogan Bailey and Nelson each collected two hits for the Tigers. The Tiger junior varsity Tigers also beat Plymouth 16-4 in five innings Monday at Boggs Park. Box scores for both games are attached. Next up for Warsaw is a game against NorthWood on Wednesday.
