The Lady Tiger Track & Field team closed out the regular season portion of their dual meet schedule Tuesday evening in dominant fashion with victories over Concord and Mishawaka, continuing to build momentum as postseason competition approaches. Warsaw secured a commanding 116-16 victory over Mishawaka while also defeating Concord 83.5-48.5 to complete a strong regular season series against both programs. Head Coach Megan Davis praised the team’s continued commitment, growth, and competitive mindset throughout the season. “I couldn’t be more proud of how these ladies have continued to show up and push themselves,” Davis said. “This team continues to prove that when each athlete commits individually while embracing a team-first mentality, they become a true force together.” The Lady Tigers showcased depth across the lineup once again, continuing a season-long trend of athletes stepping up in key moments while competing for one another. Despite the impressive performances, the team remains focused on continued growth heading into the final stretch of the season. “There is still room for improvement, and that’s exciting,” Davis added. “This group understands the standard and continues to chase becoming the best version of themselves each time they step onto the track.” Warsaw will next compete at the JV season finale this Saturday at Northwood High School before officially opening postseason competition next Tuesday at Warsaw Community High School for the Northern Lakes Conference Championship meet. The Lady Tigers will enter the NLC Championship in pursuit of their 20th consecutive conference championship. Full results are attached.
