Warsaw’s run of good form continued as they overcame arch rivals, Carroll 19-17 at Carroll’s Rugby grounds. Carroll began strong and a kick forward from the Fly-Half was picked up and crossed for a Try. Warsaw soon got into their momentum and with good handling and possession, advanced into the Carroll half of the field. On 20 minutes Andrew Contreras scored a powerful Try and Sean Smith scored the conversion. Warsaw’s tackling was excellent and Christian Cullers scored another Try to put Warsaw ahead. Just before halftime, Luis Muniz Bermudez scored a Try and Sean Smith scored the conversion to leave the halftime score at 19-10. The second half was a competitive contest with Warsaw being the dominant side, but the Tigers were held up at the Try line on three occasions. Carroll broke free to score the only Try of the second half. However, it wasn’t enough and Warsaw finished the match strong for a superb win. *Credit Mia Blocher for photos* @mia.mayo_rugby
