The WCHS girls track and field team delivered a memorable performance on Senior Night, celebrating its senior class with a strong showing and victories over Goshen 80-52 and Northridge 98-34 in a home meet on Tuesday evening. In a night filled with emotion and pride, the Lady Tigers honored a group of seniors whose leadership has helped shape the program both on and off the track. From the opening events to the final races, Warsaw competed with purpose, energy, and unity, qualities that have defined this team throughout the season. “These seniors have meant so much to our program,” said head coach Megan Davis. “Their leadership, consistency, and commitment to one another have set the tone for what it means to be a Lady Tiger. What they’ve done goes far beyond performances, they’ve helped build a culture that will continue to carry forward.” Warsaw’s efforts translated into decisive team victories over both Goshen and Northridge, showcasing the team’s depth and determination across events. The Lady Tigers continued to demonstrate growth and resilience, executing at a high level in front of a home crowd gathered to celebrate the senior class. While the results on the scoreboard were impressive, the night ultimately centered on the lasting impact of the senior group. Their dedication to the program, their teammates, and their school has left a legacy that extends well beyond competition. “As always, we closed out our celebration with our friendly for fun 4x1 that has turned into one of the most enjoyable races of the season!”
