The Tiger baseball squad had trouble keeping up with Norwell in a 9-2 loss on Wednesday at Championship Park in Kokomo. Norwell jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning with 3 runs and never looked back. The Tigers answered with a single run in the bottom half of the first, but Norwell's offense was too much for the Tigers to handle. Warsaw was outhit 12-3 for the game. Mason O'Malley took the loss for Warsaw Varsity Tigers, going 3.1 innings, giving up 8 runs on 9 hits, striking out 3 and walking 4. Logan Kim, Rogan Bailey, and Ty Martin each collected one hit for Warsaw Varsity Tigers. Norwell also won the JV game 14-1. Box scores for both games are attached.
