A 5-run second inning propelled Marian past the Lady Tigers in their softball home opener Monday night. Kami Luna and Harper Setser both had a multi-hit night to collect their first varsity hits. Lilly Piper collected 2 RBIs with a timely 2-out hit. Leah Stafford got her first start inside the circle, allowing only one earned run on four hits in 2 2/3 innings.
