The Warsaw Tigers Boys’ Track & Field team wrapped up their indoor season in impressive fashion at the HSR State Finals held at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion in Indianapolis Saturday. Leading the way for the Tigers was Senior Jordan Randall as he three-peated as High Jump Indoor State Champion with a clearance of 7’ 0.5”” with a dramatic finish to the event. That final clearance earned Randall the Indiana State Indoor High Jump Record. Jordan is the only athlete in Indiana history to be a three time HSR High Jump champion. Also in the High Jump event, Miles Rager had his finest day as he cleared a new Personal Best 6’ 5” to claim a 4th place State Meet finish in his first season as a high jumper. In Pole Vault, Cooper Hummitch qualified for his first ever State Meet and made the most of his opportunity by clearing a new Personal Best 13’ 9” en route to a 9th place finish. Tucker Reed made it back to the HSR State Meet for a second time and used his experience to clear 15’ 0” to secure 3rd place overall. This was a 12” improvement from his 2025 effort and his second highest clearance ever. On the track, the Tigers were represented by one individual in the 3200m Run and what a performance Jackson Gackenheimer gave in running 9:08.74. Leading most of the race, Jackson improved upon his own school record and finished as State Runner Up just off the winning time by less than 0.5 second. This was his highest State Meet finish ever (Indoor, Outdoor, Cross Country). In the end, Warsaw finished with 28.5 points, 6.5 more than 2025, good enough for 6th place in the Big School (4A-6A) division.
