Boys Swim Sectional Information

Warsaw will be hosting the boys swimming and diving sectional Thursday and Saturday in the Tiger Pool. PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS Columbia City, Culver Academies, Culver Community, Lewis Cass, Logansport, Manchester, Oregon-Davis, Pioneer, Plymouth, Rochester Community, Tippecanoe Valley, Wabash, Warsaw Community Admission: All tickets will be digital through your mobile phone and may be purchased through Eventlink (additional fees may apply). Present your purchase verification on your mobile phone at the gate for admission. $8 per person per session or $14 for all sessions. Children age 5 or younger admitted free. LOCATION - TRAC Classroom 5:20 PM Clear the pool. 5:30 PM CLEAR THE DIVING WELL! – Diving well will only be used as a cool down area during Thursday and Saturday’s swimming competition. 5:30 PM Swimming Preliminaries begin. SCHEDULE | FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 2026 5:30 - 7:30 PM Diving Well open for divers to practice. Schools MUST notify WCHS if they are planning on coming to use the diving pool. SCHEDULE | SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2026 6:30 AM Pool open for divers to warm-up. 8:00 AM Scratch meeting for coaches or their representative (attendance required). LOCATION - TRAC Classroom 9:00 AM Diving preliminaries and Semi-Finals. 11:30 AM Pool open for divers and swimmers to warm-up 12:00 PM Scratch meeting for coaches or their representative (attendance required). LOCATION - TRAC Classroom 12:50 PM Clear the pool. 1:00 PM Consolation and finals in all events. Advancement Swimming 1. First place sectional winners in each event qualify for the state finals plus 2. Any contestant who equals or betters the state time standard in their respective event in the consolation finals or championship finals of the sectional qualifies for the state finals. The state standard may not be achieved by a swimmer who is competing as the first leg of a relay. 3. The next fastest number of contestants in the state that would bring the total number of state meet entrants to thirty-two (32) in each event. In the event that a tie exists for the 32nd position, the tie shall stand and both swimmers shall advance to the state championships. Diving 1. First through fourth place sectional winners will qualify for the diving regional. 2. First through eighth place regional winners will qualify for the state finals. Fan info: No food or drinks are allowed in the pool area. No balloons, banners and posters, shakers on sticks, etc. are permitted. Cowbells and other such noise devices are not permitted. Carry-in radios, cassette and tape decks, etc. are not permitted in the pool area. Principals and coaches are urged to read and double check the entry list to be sure that all necessary information is provided and each contestant is entered properly. Videotaping/Filming: participating schools may be permitted by participating schools by only one individual authorized by the participating school Principal; only when a student from that school is actually participating; and provided there is a designated area available at the center school. Principals of the participating schools must receive permission to tape/film in advance, from the center school principal. The tape/film may not be used to review decisions of contest officials. The tape/film may not be sold, rented or loaned for commercial purposes. The taping/filming is not an authorized tournament expenditure and, if done, is at the expense of the school. Spectators may tape/film at any time provided approval is obtained from the tournament management. Taping/filming may be restricted to certain areas or may be prohibited if space is unavailable, i.e., sellouts, nature of facility, etc. Concessions will be available in the Hallway outside of the Pool.
