Tigers Take Down Plymouth on Senior Night with 1996 Team Back Home

Warsaw jumped out to a big lead early and pulled away for a 66-40 win over Plymouth Friday night in the Tiger Den. It was the final home game for the Tigers this season, and Senior Night for the four senior players and one senior manager, And the night started in a special way. The four seniors started along with Sam Lara. Wesley Martin, making his first varsity start and looking for his first points of the season, hit a 3-pointer for the first points of the game to the roar of the Tiger Den crown. He hit another one in the final seconds of the game. Mydin Burgher led Warsaw with 17 and Drew Jones added 10. The Tigers finish the NLC 4-3 and in a tie for third place, and are 11-10 with a road trip to West Lafayette Harrison Friday. The JV won another close one, topping Plymouth in overtime 51-47. Landon Kralis went off for 37 points for the Tiger JV, who has won four straight and is now 8-10.
