WCHS Wrestling placed 6th at the Penn Regional on Saturday while advancing 6 to next week’s Semi State. The Tigers started the morning off strong with consecutive wins from the 106 through 126 weight classes as Tristan Wood, Ivahn Martinez, Alex Vallejo, and Gabe Veit all punched their tickets to Semi State. Leo Castro was the next to advance at 144, and Enrique Silva moved on at 165. Four of qualifiers moved on with third place finishes: Tristan Wood (106), Ivahn Martinez (113), Alex Vallejo (120), and Leo Castro (144). Gabe Veit (126) and Enrique Silva (165) took fourth place.
