A key sequence in the late stages of the third quarter lifted the Warsaw girls basketball team to a 65-40 sectional semifinal win over Elkhart at Goshen Friday night. With the Lady Tigers leading by 7 and Elkhart putting together a run to get back into the game, Brooke Zartman got open in the right corner on an inbound play for a 3-pointer that put the lead back up to 10. In the Lady Lion possession that followed, Zartman's pressure forced a turnover that she turned into a 3-point play that snuffed out the comeback attempt. Zartman finished with 18 points, Joslyn Bricker 21 and Alexis Neely 12 in Warsaw's 24th win of the season. The Lady Tigers will play Northridge Saturday night at 7:30 at Goshen for the sectional championship. Northridge downed Concord 71-41 in the other semifinals.
