Mydin Burgher scored a career-high 29 points to lead Warsaw to a boys basketball victory over Merrillville Tuesday 72-41. Burgher started the game with two steals--one of which he drove to the basket himself and the other he dished to his right to Sam Lara--to put the Tigers ahead 4-0 and they never looked back. Sam McDaniels also hit a career high, scoring 16 point including 4 3-pointers. The junior varsity lost a heart breaker 60-58 in double overtime. Brandon Kralis scored 20 in the loss.
