The Warsaw boys basketball team lost their first conference game of the season, falling at home to rival Wawasee 42-33. Poor shooting was once again at the heart of the matter, with the Tigers making only 12-45 field goal attempts (3-17 3pt) on the night. Mydin Burgher led the scoring with 15 points. Drew Jones did not play because of injury. Warsaw falls to 1-3 on the season. The junior varsity is 2-1 after beating Wawasee 36-31. Alex Higdon scored 10 for the Tigers, who have won two in a row. The varsity, JV and freshman teams will all be at Carroll Saturday, with the frosh and JV games starting at 6pm.
