Lady Tiger senior Eden Metz has signed her Letter of Intent to run for both the cross country and track & field teams at the University of Indianapolis. Metz says she chose Indianapolis because of the numerous opportunities its location on the south side of the state's largest city offers, and their high job acceptance rate. She also points out that they are ranked #4 in college grads staying to work in Indy, and have a collective GPA of 3.5. Eden is going to study design, and plans to focus on designing running apparel. "I want to help athletes," she said confidently at her signing ceremony Tuesday. "I want to help design gear for runners." She says cross country and track & field are similar in some ways, but different in others. "Cross Country is more of a team race," she says, "but track is more specialized. In both, you have to work together as a team." And what wisdom does she leave for the underclassmen? "Find the people who are going to show up for you, on your good days and your bad days."
