The Warsaw girls basketball team is on quite a roll. The Lady Tigers beat Carroll Wednesday in Huntertown 73-29 for their 4th win in a row. After trailing 5-0 less than two minutes into the first quarter, Warsaw scored the next 24 points to take control of the game. Warsaw put up 31 points in the 2nd quarter and led 55-16 at halftime. Brooke Zartman led the scoring with 26 points, including 6 more 3-pointers. The final one came right before half time and was the record-setting 300th of her Lady Tiger career. Joslyn Bricker added 21 and Alexis Neely 11. Zartman, Bricker and Neely combined for 58 points on 20-34 shooting from the field and 13-22 from 3-point range. Warsaw is 9-1 on the season at both the varsity and junior varsity levels. The JV won at Carroll 77-11. Charlotte Kesler scored 22 in the team's 9th straight win. Both teams will be at Plymouth Friday. The JV will begin at 6:15, but because of a conflict at Plymouth the JV "game" will only be two quarters. The varsity game will follow the JV game.
