The Lady Tiger varsity and junior varsity wrestling teams traveled to East Noble Saturday to compete in the East Noble Girls Invitational. The JV wrestlers wrestled in "Madison Brackets" and some of them were competing for the first time. JV Lady Tigers: Jayde Fifer went 1-1 with a win by major decision, 15-5 and placed 2nd. Remi Kellar went 2-2 with a win by pin and a win by decision, 9-2 to earn 3rd Place. Lilly Winston went 2-1 with two wins by pin! She placed 2nd. Makayla McGlennen went 2-1, with a win by decision and a win by pin to place 2nd. Maleeka Kennedy went 1-2 with a win by pin! She placed 3rd in her bracket. Danica Davids went 3-0 with all first period pins to place 1st. Varsity: Mariana Morgan went 2-2 and won by pin in both matches to place 4th. Jocelyn Snyder wrestled tough today and walked away with mat experience. Mya Williamson went 1-2 with a win 9-0 major decision today. Emma DeWald went 3-1 her first match of the day with a loss to the 2nd place finisher, and she wrestled back with all pins to become the Consolation Champion.
