The Warsaw Wrestling program hosted the annual Hutch Memorial Duals on Saturday. The varsity Tigers had a great showing on the mat, finishing with a 3-2 record after a couple of tightly contested losses. Warsaw started the morning with dominant wins over Northrop (60-9) and Concordia Lutheran (60-10). The next two rounds paired the Tigers with NLC rivals Wawasee and Concord, with Warsaw coming up short on both. The Wawasee dual saw tons of gritty performances and double-digit lead changes in the team score before Wawasee would eventually close out a 43-33 win. In the Concord dual, Warsaw just couldn't get momentum going and trailed for the entire contest - losing by a 26-41 final. Warsaw closed the day strong as they put away Penn's varsity B by a score of 59-15. The Tigers also put their varsity B on the mat. They put together a strong day of their own, going 2-3 overall with wins against Concordia and Northrop. Warsaw had 4 wrestlers go 5-0 for the day.
