The Lady Tiger Basketball team completed a three-game sweep of Penn Tuesday night. The varsity bounced back from their first loss of the season Saturday to blow out Penn in the Tiger Den 58-23. Leading 32-18 at halftime, Warsaw held Penn scoreless in the third quarter and allowed them just 5 points in the fourth quarter to pull away. It's the 24th time in Lady Tiger history that Warsaw has shut out an opponent for an entire quarter. Warsaw shot 48-percent from the field, led by Joslyn Bricker's 6-10 FGs and 16 points. Reagan Huss added 13 and Brooke Zartman 11 to push the Lady Tigers to 6-1 on the season. The junior varsity beat Penn 39-30. Dani Rastrelli led the JV with 15 points and 5 steals. Charlotte Kesler added 9 points and 11 rebounds. The JV has won six straight after losing their season-opener at Snider. The freshman team is 1-2 after they beat Penn 33-28. Carley Schultz scored 12 for the Lady Tigers. Warsaw will host NorthWood to begin NLC play next Tuesday. The Lady Tigers have won 29 straight NLC games.
